Exporting

Get a PNG film strip ready to drop into MNodes.

Steps

  1. Set the file name in the export row.
  2. Choose the format:
    • Full Strip: All frames as a single PNG (this is what MNodes uses).
    • Current Frame: Just the frame you are viewing (useful for previews).
  3. Click Export PNG.
  4. A progress bar shows the rendering. The PNG downloads automatically.

The file is named with dimensions and frame count, for example: myknob_500x500_128f.png.

Tips

  • Disable the background for a transparent PNG that works with any MNodes theme.
  • 500x500 at 128 frames is a good default. For smaller controls, 256x256 works fine.
  • More frames = smoother animation but larger file. 64 is acceptable, 128 is standard, 256 is ultra-smooth.
  • Orientation in the Global panel controls whether frames stack vertically or horizontally in the output PNG. MNodes accepts both.
